SOLIDARITY STUDIES

Twenty-five works from La Pulga’s Revolutionary Pantry in a single large-format composition examining the visual language that surrounds power, persuasion, culture, and public life.

Borrowing the recognizable form of the pantry can, each design transforms a different idea into a fictional consumer product. References to economics, labor, surveillance, migration, censorship, lending, war, mutual aid, community, and other social questions sit beside vintage typography, postage, advertising fragments, archival imagery, and invented branding.

Seen individually, the cans operate like miniature cultural artifacts. Seen together, repetition becomes part of the work itself—the same mechanisms used to package food begin to resemble the ways ideas can be packaged, circulated, normalized, challenged, and remembered.

Propaganda Studies is less a collection of answers than a crowded visual record of competing messages: what we are sold, what we inherit, what we question, and what we choose to keep.
